Nuclear physics computing
Three nuclear physics research projects involving Michigan State University researchers have won grants from the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science (DOE-SC). The five-year awards are part of the Scientific Discovery through Advanced Computing (SciDAC4) program supported by the DOE-SC Offices of Nuclear Physics and Advanced Scientific Computing Research.
AutoDrive Challenge begins
Four Spartan Engineers represented Michigan State University when SAE International and General Motors kicked off the AutoDrive Challenge with a workshop at SAE's Pittsburgh-area headquarters on June 5-6.
