The College of Engineering Technology Engineering (TechE) program was featured on the MSUToday podcast with Russ White on July 9.

In today’s job market, computation skills are vital for practice-ready engineers. So, Michigan State University’s (MSU) College of Engineering held a workshop to help faculty across the college become more familiar with computational tools and ways to incorporate them into student learning experiences.

The Michigan State University College of Engineering officially introduced its new Technology Engineering, or TechE, undergraduate degree program to media, industry partners and the campus community at an April 17 event held in the MSU STEM Teaching and Learning Facility.

Vanessa Decker always had a passion for food, so the 2012 chemical engineering alumna knew it had to be a part of her career. “I think that baking and chemistry kind of went hand in hand for me. So, as I explored different career paths, engineering just made sense.”

The Michigan State University College of Engineering recognizes 18 faculty and staff members with awards for their excellence in service and distinguished contributions. Each year, faculty and staff are nominated by their colleagues, industry peers and students for the most prestigious honors the college offers.

Michigan State University’s College of Engineering welcomed seven faculty in Spring 2025. Interim Dean of Engineering John Papapolymerou said that these additions will help the growing student body become innovative and solution oriented.

The PoliMOVE-MSU Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC) racing team and the College of Engineering’s Technology Engineering program (TechE) have been awarded $200K by the DENSO North America Foundation (DNAF).
