Yadu Pokhrel named John K. Hudzik Emerging Leader

Associate professor recognized as one of 14 Global Spartans

The MSU College of Engineering's Yadu Pokhrel has been named one of 14 outstanding Global Spartans who conducts research that changes the world.

Pokhrel is an associate professor who specializes in a variety of research, including irrigation and groundwater sustainability.

He was named this month a John K. Hudzik Emerging Leader in Advancing International Studies and Program. Pokhrel will be recognized for this honor on April 24 at MSU's 2024 International Awards Ceremony.

Pokhrel's research focuses on improving the understanding of the changes in regional and global water cycles in response to human activities and climate changes. More information about his research can be found on his College of Engineering profile page.
