Eight distinguished alumni of the Michigan State University College of Engineering were honored with 2025 Alumni Awards on Saturday, May 3, at MSU’s Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.
Seventeen College of Engineering students at Michigan State University received University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum (UURAF) awards at a ceremony held on April 21 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.
The 2025 Engineering Graduate Research Symposium (opens in new window)at Michigan State University (MSU) is set for Thursday, May 8, in the Engineering Building. The 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. event showcases the work of graduate students from across all college units. It is free and open to the public.
Ten Michigan State University engineering students were awarded the Dean’s Choice Award for their dedication and time spent volunteering at Broadening Participation K-12 programs. One of MSU’s premier academic events, over 600 Spartan Engineering students will display their creative projects from 8:00 am to noon in the Engineering Building, 428 S. Shaw Lane, East Lansing.
Vanessa Decker always had a passion for food, so the 2012 chemical engineering alumna knew it had to be a part of her career. “I think that baking and chemistry kind of went hand in hand for me. So, as I explored different career paths, engineering just made sense.”
Four faculty members and a group of community partners in the Michigan State University (MSU) College of Engineering received MSU’s highest honors during the 2024-2025 All-University Awards on April 7. One College of Engineering staff member and one alumnus were also celebrated for receiving International Awards, which will be presented on April 17.
The Michigan State University College of Engineering, corporate scholarship sponsors and alumni recognized 160 students for their academic and participation achievements during this year’s Dean’s Showcase of Stars. More than $140,000 in scholarships were presented to students at the annual event.
