The Michigan State University College of Engineering recognizes 18 faculty and staff members with awards for their excellence in service and distinguished contributions. Each year, faculty and staff are nominated by their colleagues, industry peers and students for the most prestigious honors the college offers.
Welcoming new faculty
Michigan State University’s College of Engineering welcomed seven faculty in Spring 2025. Interim Dean of Engineering John Papapolymerou said that these additions will help the growing student body become innovative and solution oriented.

Henry Ford Health, MSU announce 2024 cancer research award recipients
Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences has named the award recipients of the 2024 Cancer Seed Funding Program. Building on the success of the 2022 and 2023 cancer research pilot and integration award funding initiatives, this year the program awarded 14 new cancer research awards totaling $700,000.
