Interim Dean of the Michigan State University College of Engineering and MSU Research Foundation Professor, John Papapolymerou, received the prestigious Rudolf Henning Distinguished Mentoring Award at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference (WAMICON).
Vanessa Decker always had a passion for food, so the 2012 chemical engineering alumna knew it had to be a part of her career. “I think that baking and chemistry kind of went hand in hand for me. So, as I explored different career paths, engineering just made sense.”
The Michigan State University College of Engineering, corporate scholarship sponsors and alumni recognized 160 students for their academic and participation achievements during this year’s Dean’s Showcase of Stars. More than $140,000 in scholarships were presented to students at the annual event.
