Jason Smith is a Teaching Specialist in MSU’s First Year Engineering Experience (CoRe) and Applied Engineering Sciences programs. In this capacity, Jason teaches EGR 102 – An Introduction to Engineering Modeling, AESC 110 - Applied Engineering Sciences as a Profession, and AESC 310 - Sustainable Systems Analysis. His goal is to advance the state of engineering instruction by encouraging students ... to engage deeply with the content and develop a mission-driven approach to their engineering education. Jason is a graduate of MSU holding a B.S. and M.S. from MSU’s Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering program. Jason is also a winner of the AT&T 2021 Excellence in Instructional Technology Award.
