JoAnn Ballor

Biography

Dr. Ballor has been an instructor for the Applied Engineering Sciences program since January 2023. She has also held an adjunct instructor teaching position at Lansing Community College since January 2023. Previously she was a graduate student in the Chemical Engineering and Materials Science (CHEMS) department at MSU. As a graduate student, she received a DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research ... (SCGSR) fellowship in 2018. In 2022 she received the CHEMS department student service award from the MSU CHEMS department, the Outstanding Graduate Student in Materials Science award from MSU, and the Microscopy and Microanalysis Student Scholar Award from the Microanalysis Society.
