MSU shows its sporty autonomous vehicle at Detroit Moves, a showcase of the state's mobility technology

Outreach specialist Brad Clark was among the Spartan Engineers representing MSU at the mobility showcase, Detroit Moves.

When #DetroitMoves, MSU is there with it.

Detroit Moves was a special collection of live demonstrations and activations hosted in Spirit Plaza in downtown Detroit from Sept. 7-9. It showcased the innovative mobility technology being designed and produced in Michigan to local, national and international visitors.

MSU sent its sporty green and white autonomous vehicle, along with monitors and Spartan Engineers to describe the autonomous technology research going on in the College of Engineering.

Daniel Kent, a PhD student in electrical engineering, is among the MSU students helping advance mobility technology in Michigan.

Detroit Moves coincided with Technology in Motion. It was presented by Crain and MSX International. Read more on Detroit Moves in Crain's Detroit Business.

MSU is a leader in autonomous research, with more than 100 patents and expertise in biometric recognition and other fields.
