Mark Roberts ('98) has been elected senior vice president at Texas Instruments Inc. (TI).
In this role, he is responsible for leading TI's worldwide sales and applications organization, which supports roughly 100,000 customers across all global regions and various markets, including industrial and automotive.
"I am humbled and excited to take on this role," he said. "I am personally committed to making sure that our sales and applications team members are equipped to deliver results and provide best-in-class support to our customers."
In addition to leading TI's sales and applications organization, Roberts continues to serve on the board of the TI Foundation, which focuses on giving and volunteerism that improve education and critical needs. Involvement in the TI Foundation allows Roberts to exercise his passions around education with a focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and on strengthening the communities in which TI operates.
Roberts earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Michigan State University and joined TI in 1998. Prior to this role, he served as vice president of the Americas sales and applications organization. He has held a variety of other roles in sales and applications during his career at TI, with a deep background in automotive and industrial.
