The Michigan State University College of Engineering will host the Computational, Mathematics, Science and Engineering (CMSE) Data Science Capstone Project Showcase on April 23. This event provides a platform for CMSE 495 undergraduate students to present the results of their final semester-long projects.
To complete capstone projects, students work in teams to develop solutions to real-world problems, applying technical knowledge they have gained across various courses. Time outside of class is dedicated to completing tasks and deliverables.
The projects not only demonstrate students’ technical abilities but also reflect their growth in teamwork, problem-solving and communication. The showcase also provides opportunities for students to connect and network with community leaders and industry sponsors.
The showcase will take place on April 23, 2025, in Room 1145 of the Engineering Building. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. and the showcase will run from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
