Two from the College of Engineering are among the 20 scholars at Michigan State University to receive a Fulbright Award for the 2025-26 academic year.
The prestigious recognition was presented to Narendra N. Das, associate professor,Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering, and Nunzio Carducci, a doctoral student in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science.
Das will begin his Fulbright project, “Advancing Agricultural and Water Resource Management in Vietnam through High Resolution SAR Data,” in January 2026.
Carducci’s Fulbright will take him to Italy in October 2025. His project is titled, “Engineering Electroactive biocatalysts for enhanced photosynthesis.” Carducci is from Laramie, Wyoming.
The Fulbright Program is the U.S. government’s flagship international educational exchange program. Michigan State scholars and students will reside in 17 different countries through the newest Fulbright Awards. See the entire MSU list here.
