MSU and Michigan - true leaders in autonomous mobility

Michigan's position as the leader in mobility was in the spotlight on Nov. 19 when experts from Bosch, Ford, MSU, State of Michigan, and the U.S. Army came together during a 90-minute virtual forum focused on "Accelerating the first/last mile for autonomous mobility." 

The latest in MSU Mobility research, achievements and collaborations were on view during a forum on Nov. 19.

The 45-minute panel discussion included mobility experts: Jon Coleman, director of City Solutions at Ford Motor Co.; Paul Thomas, executive vice president for Bosch in North America; and David Gorsich, chief scientist of the U.S. Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center.

MSU President Samuel Stanley Jr., M.D., moderated the mobility forum.

Other speakers included Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies John Verboncoeur, who introduced the video: MSU Mobility - Spartans Will.

Closing remarks were offered by University Distinguished Professor and MSU Mobility Director Satish Udpa.
