Eleven student-athletes from the MSU College of Engineering have been named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team for fall semester. They are among the 150 Michigan State Spartans on rosters for the league's seven autumn sports.
Two Applied Engineering Sciences students finished the semester with unblemished 4.0 GPAs. They are part of MSU’s 19 perfect academic records for the semester, which leads the Big Ten.
The 4.0 Spartan Engineers are:
• Andrew Nolan, Men's Cross Country, Applied Engineering Sciences and
• Tyler Pritchett, Men's Cross Country, Applied Engineering Sciences.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of Nov. 1 for fall sports), have been enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
These Spartan Engineers also received Academic All-Big Ten honors for fall 2023:

• Jack Pennewell, Men's Cross Country, Environmental Engineering
• Luke Perelli, Men's Cross Country, Computer Engineering

• Jack Zugay, Men's Soccer, Applied Engineering Sciences
• Jordyn Wickes, Women's Soccer, Mechanical Engineering and
• Julia Bishop, Volleyball, Computational Data Science
• Nil Okur, Volleyball, Computer Science
