John Verboncoeur, MSU College of Engineering senior associate dean for research and graduate studies, is part of an elite group invited to offer insights on this year’s technological trends.
Verboncoeur is one of nearly 50 experts in the world who helped create the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Computer Society’s Technologies to Watch in 2024.
This year’s report includes Artificial Intelligence, 3D printing applications, remote healthcare, battery chemistry and architecture, management of misinformation and advances in cybersecurity.

Verboncoeur is a professor of Computational Mathematics, Science and Engineering and a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
