3 Spartan Engineers named to Academic All-Big Ten Team

Three MSU Engineering students have been named Academic All-Big Ten.

Three student-athletes from the MSU College of Engineering have been named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team for winter sports.

They are among the 61 Spartans earning Academic All-Big Ten honors for the winter of 2023-24.

The newest Spartan Engineers receiving the Big Ten academic recognition are:

  • Genevieve Lebster, Women's Gymnastics, Mechanical Engineering
  • Daniel Russell, Men's Ice Hockey, Civil Engineering
  • Kael Wisler, Wrestling, Civil Engineering

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of March 1 for winter sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
