A two-time graduate of Michigan State University College of Engineering has been named dean of the College of Engineering at the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University.
Stephanie Luster-Teasley Pass has served as interim dean of the engineering college since May 2022 and previously served as A&T's vice provost for undergraduate education, starting May 2021.
At MSU, she received a master's degree in 2000 and a Ph.D. in 2003 in civil and environmental engineering.
An active volunteer at Michigan State, her term on the College of Engineering Alumni Board ends in 2024.
In 2020, she received the MSU College of Engineering Civil and Environmental Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award. In 2018, she won a national Innovation Award during the Black Engineer of the Year ceremonies in Washington, D.C.
