Andrew Koch, president of the MSU chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, talked to Fox 47’s Ava Moschet about the importance of internships and their potential to turn into jobs in the region.
The ASME student chapter helps members find opportunities for work, along with industry networking, technical workshops, resume building, and other volunteer and social opportunities.
Koch said whether you're a freshman looking for your first internship or you're graduating, helping students get connected with internships and future jobs is part of what ASME chapter members do.
