Eight Engineering graduates receive Board of Trustees’ Award for academic excellence, 4.0 GPA

Eight December graduates receive top academic awards at commencement.

Eighty-six graduating Spartans have earned a distinction few achieve — a perfect 4.0 GPA. Eight are from the College of Engineering.

The MSU Board of Trustees honored these students with the Board of Trustees’ Award at its Dec. 12 meeting, recognizing their exceptional academic performance. The graduates were acknowledged during the undergraduate Engineering commencement ceremony on Dec. 13 and received a special cord as part of their academic regalia.

The College of Engineering students receiving the Board of Trustees’ Award are:

  • Daniel M. Berezovsky, who earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is a member of the Honors College, is from West Bloomfield, Michigan.
  • Ella C. Kruschka, who earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and is a member of the Honors College, is from South Lyon, Michigan.
  • Nitish Maindoliya, who earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is a member of the Honors College, is from Hari Nagar, India.
  • Raduan J. Moustafhim, who earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is a member of the Honors College, is from North Barrington, Illinois.
  • Travis Ngo, who earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science, is from East Lansing, Michigan.
  • Nitin Niranjan, who earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, is from Troy, Michigan.
  • Andrew N. Roth, who earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science, is from Northville, Michigan.
  • Abhay A. Saji, who earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science, is from Northville, Michigan.
