Biography

Dr. David Olson received his honors diploma and B.S in Aeronautical Engineering with great distinction from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY in 2009. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2011 and 2017, respectively, from Michigan State University. His research areas cover a broad range of fluid dynamics with a particular focus on unsteady and low-speed aerodynamics. Furthermore, he develops non-intrusive optical-based experimental techniques for fluid dynamics.
