Dr. Wang's research focuses on the synthesis and processing-structure-property relationship study of energy storage materials (metal-sulfur battery, aluminum-ion battery, lithium-ion battery, and all solid-state battery) and emission control catalysts (i.e., for plasma-assisted CO2 hydrogenation, dry reforming of methane, chemical looping carbon capture, and automotive three-way catalytic converter). ... He has extensive experience in oxide nanomaterials/ceramic processing and applying advanced transmission electron microscopy techniques (in situ and in operando TEM, HRTEM, STEM, EELS, EDX) to atomic-level structural and chemical characterization of hard materials.
