
The dedication and contributions of 16 staff members in the Michigan State University College of Engineering were recognized during Staff Service Award presentations on July 23, 2026.
Engineering Dean John Papapolymerou introduced the staff members who reached Engineering service milestones of three, five 10, 15, and 20 years.
“This is one of those moments when we get to pause and recognize the people who make this college run every day — the ones who solve problems, support each other, and keep things moving forward,” he said. “Their service represents not just time, but impact, relationships, and commitment to this community.”

Three Years Service
- Courtney Biddinger, human resources coordinator, Department of Mechanical Engineering
- Lyndsay Futrell, software developer, Division of Engineering Computing Services
- Courtney Kosloski, educational program coordinator for Design Day
- Pahoua Nguyen, secretary, Recruitment and K-12 Outreach
- Lisa Vaughn, research administrator, Division of Engineering Research
- Carolyn Wemple, accountant, Department of Computational Mathematics, Science and Engineering
Five Years Service
- Alex Delavan, director, Division of Engineering Research
- Shelly Harbenski, business manager, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
- Kendra Horvath, creative services manager, Marketing & Communications
- Emily Julien, research assistant, Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering
- Kelley Monterusso, director, Communication and Marketing Strategy
- Jen Riebow, senior administrative business professional, Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering
10 Years Service
- Kaleigh Jaeger-Hale, college alumni coordinator, Development Office
15 Years Service
