Remembering George VanDusen
A retired assistant dean and former interim dean of the MSU College of Engineering has died in Florida. George VanDusen, who served as the assistant dean for undergraduate affairs for many years and as interim dean in 1998-1999, died June 1 at McGraw Community Hospice in Jacksonville. He was 85.

Yiming Deng named ASNT Fellow
Yiming Deng of Michigan State University has been named a 2021 Fellow of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), the world's largest technical society for nondestructive testing professionals. The award is among ASNT's highest honors and is presented for outstanding professional distinction and significant contributions to the advancement of nondestructive testing.
