Four faculty members and a group of community partners in the Michigan State University (MSU) College of Engineering received MSU’s highest honors during the 2024-2025 All-University Awards on April 7. One College of Engineering staff member and one alumnus were also celebrated for receiving International Awards, which will be presented on April 17.
The awards recognize the excellent work of MSU’s faculty, academic specialists, graduate students, executive leaders, and community partners.
This year’s recipients from the College of Engineering are:
William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award
Awards are based on a comprehensive and sustained record of scholarly excellence in research and/or creative activities, instruction, and outreach.

Teacher-Scholar Award
These awards are given to faculty who have earned the respect of their students and colleagues for their devotion to and skill in teaching, and whose instruction is linked to and informed by their research and creative activities.

Community Engagement Scholarship Award
The Office of the Vice Provost for University Outreach and Engagement supports the Community Engagement Scholarship Award to recognize a mutually beneficial and sustained campus-community research partnership.
