Faculty and staff members in the Michigan State University College of Engineering received six of MSU’s highest honors during the 2022-2023 All-University Awards on May 8.

A team led by Michigan State University researchers has earned a $1.2 million National Science Foundation grant to continue shoring up the security of cellular 911 calls.

The Michigan State University College of Engineering will honor eight distinguished graduates with 2023 Alumni Awards on Saturday, May 6, at MSU’s Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center. The College will also recognize a high school educator whose noteworthy efforts to teach technical education and computer science reflect positively on MSU and the College of Engineering.

Michigan State University will host commencement ceremonies for more than 1,040 graduates of the College of Engineering this weekend.

A team of Michigan State University engineering students explored that question and created a Build-an-App for Humanities Researchers to help the MSU Linguistics Department save both time and resources in an analysis of the pandemic. The new audio software app is just one of hundreds of projects that will be on display Friday, April 28, during Spring 2023 Design Day in the MSU College of Engineering.

The event, held in the Engineering Building, was organized to inspire the next generation to choose career paths in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
